Thank-you's go to Jon, my favourite faux-cowboy for his wonderful mention of my blog and the award that merits a place on my sidebar. 

Seven things you may or may not know about me -


1) I have an identical twin sister who is 5 minutes older than me (and No, we never swap identities) - and Yes, my husband can tell us apart . . .


2) I joined AOL in 2001, with a new computer and dial-up service.


3) I became a chat-room junkie after hubby literally threw me into one, one evening and I found it very addictive. I became bored with them after a year or so and discovered poetry groups from the "People Connection". Later I decided to investigate the AOL journal community and become a participant.

4) Jon replied to one of my comments I had written on his journal in 2005, and asked me if I had a journal (I did not), so my journey began . . .


5) I am still somewhat uncomfortable talking about myself, so I try to describe my world around me, through my poetry or photography.

6) After my job as a medical Social Worker (for 17 odd years) ended, I took night-school computer classes towards a web-design diploma. My goal was to host my own web site with my poetry. I still have a few more classes to finish. A series of unfortunate physical injuries has delayed this process. :::SIGH:::


7) I have been reading and corresponding with Jon for almost 6 years. From August 2005:

 It is almost next to impossible to list 15 recently discovered blogs, as I only visit a few at a time and do not know people as well as others, so I will leave a list of ones that I miss who haven't updated theirs or moved on to new things with my next post.
